So here’s the 24h Comic I made at the Maison des Auteurs in Angouleme this year. I finished in just under 20 hours this year, but my hand did swell up like a blown up glove. It’s a bit shaky here and there as a result, but on the whole I’m very pleased with it.

Very Awesome! Great work!
So… did the man get the cat back to make his wife feel better, or for the darker purpose of quietening the crying baby… permanently?!
That’s AMAZING, Dan!!
Can’t believe you did so swifly!
Love the story, the drawing and the great use of watercolour.
That’s an astonishingly well conceived and executed piece considering the time pressures. I can only assume that you are very smart. Good work.
Wow - great colors & composition! Did you have inklings or ideas for this before creating it?
I had an inkling, but they set constraints at the start of the 24 hours that make planning too far ahead very difficult.
Nice comic!
My favorite scenes are when the cat walks on the car. 🙂
I like the story and coloring too.
The story did not feel rushed, and this is a 24 hour comic. That takes a lot of determination and talent. 🙂
I also like the pacing of the panels, you really captured the moments of the story very well and it was very immersive for me as a reader.
I’m thinking of making a 24 hour comic too. It looks really fun!
