I’ve got a busy few weeks ahead of me.

Here’s what I’m up to;

I’ll be finishing my next book ‘Carry Me’ shortly, getting a new year at work underway, moving house and;

I’m teaching a week-long course in writing and drawing comics with Karrie Fransman and Posy Simmonds for the Arvon Foundation from the 14th to the 19th October. It’s in a thousand year old house in Devon and is going to be amazing. I’m VERY excited about this. Very excited indeed.

Then, Karrie and I will be driving directly from Devon to Kendal to take part in the first Lakes International Comic Art Festival. I’ll be giving a workshop on storytelling which I understand is now fully booked and then interviewing Charlie Adlard on stage about his career thus far.

The, I’ll be heading back South to be a guest at the 22 Panels show in Falmouth on the 26th to the 27th October where I’ll be doing another storytelling workshop to which I’m really looking forward.

I’ll then be spending a day in London for the Comica Comiket at Central St. Martin’s behind King’s Cross. It’s free to get in and you can come and say hello and buy some books from me.

Following that, I’ll be at the crown jewel in the crown of British comics shows, the Thought Bubble festival in Leeds on the 23rd and 24th of November. During which I’ll be interviewing one of my very favourite comic artists on stage. It’s very exciting indeed.

After that, in December, I’ll be taking part in Volume, an art, book and print fair (scroll down) taking place from the 6th to the 8th December at the swanky new Library of Birmingham. I’ll have a stall there and hosting a live Make It Then Tell Everybody. More details to follow soon.

Following that I shall be going into hibernation and refusing to get out of bed until 2014. What I’m trying to say is that from pretty much now until 2014 normal service might have to be suspended. Expect very brief responses to emails and reduced tweeting. Be nice to me if you see me for the rest of the year, I’m likely to be very tired indeed.
