I’ve been a little cagey about talking about this book too much. I haven’t wanted to post too much interior artwork for fear of ruining the story and I wasn’t sure it’d be finished in time given my recent workload. I’m very pleased indeed with how it has come out. It’s an entirely wordless narrative and it is the most personal story I think I’ve told. It follows the journey of a father and daughter walking through a field pursued by a black dog. It’s a metaphor for life, death and vulnerability.
Great Beast have said that they’ll have to file it under ‘stories to make you well up’.
It’ll be available on my store and on the Great Beast store in the coming days, at the Thought Bubble Festival next weekend and in shops soon after.
