I was sure I’d posted this ages ago, but obviously not! I made a series of headers for the Bored of Brighton website recently, in which I made Brighton an even more exciting place to live by attacking it with vigorous sea-beasts. It was lots of fun to do, sea-beasts being a delight to draw ‘n all. I drew three headers in all, so that they could be changed depending on the level of political unrest at the time. (or something)

Real Men pt2

The result of two days hard drawing, coding and laughing our asses off is here; Real Men; an Anchorman themed stag do with a difference. What is the difference? Well, we branded the hell out of it. Frivolous, yes, necessary, no, but this is just what happens when we have time to kill and laptops to use.

Not simply an online RSVP, this is REAL MEN. (it is really just an online RSVP)

Chicken Strips

This is a preview of a strip I’m putting together for Jim Medway’s Comical Animal, a monthly dose of all things funny-animal.

Chicken Strips is my first go at a running gag strip. I’ve made it difficult for myself by making it all about humour and comedy, chickens having a bit of a history with jokes and all.

I’m working on a small story at the moment that outlines my motoring history. I can’t decide if it is interesting to read, or just fun to draw. It isn’t really an autobiography, just a small collection of anecdotes framed by a car crash.

It’s entirely done in Photoshop, so it’s pretty quick to draw. I’ll post up the whole thing when it’s finished.

Page 100 – No Country For Old Men

I’ll be honest - I really struggled with this, but I’ll put it up anyway. This is page 100 from Cormac McCarthy’s No Country For Old Men. Next time, I’m going to choose something that hasn’t been made into a film. It was a real struggle not to simply mimic the look of the film. Still, a great page to illustrate!
